Buddy Bolden

Charles "Buddy Bolden (1877-1931) Considered by many to be "The First Jazz Man". His peak years were 1904 - 1906 when he was the original "King of New Orleans horn players."

For the past 25 years, the Louis Armstrong Foundation, Inc. has documented some of the finest players of the New Orleans Jazz cultural art form. 

Additionally, the Louis Armstrong Foundation, Inc. takes pride in helping to influence the next generation of jazz musicians and dancers through it's Goodwill Outreach Programs designed to "Put the Arts Back Into Our School System".
